In order to showcase to key project stakeholders how the new Virginia Tech Classroom would be built over time visually, VIATechnik created a 4D model by linking the project schedule and 3D model together. Aside from showcasing purposes, the 4D model was instrumental in conveying the construction sequence, plan, and activities in an accurate, realistic and graphic manner. The model lends itself to a sense of team buy-in and can be used to communicate to all teams what the “plan of attack” is as well as gain support from stakeholders.
