Institutional and Government

Our work spans facilities that serve a variety of uses from cultural to correctional. Through our work on governmental projects, VIATechnik seeks to maximize the efficiency of tax payer dollars on capital projects that deliver facilities to the citizens. Working with a wide range of stakeholders under constrained budgets presents its own set of complexity. Virtual Design and Construction allows owners to hold the stakeholders, design, and construction team accountable to the sponsoring agency. VIATechnik has been involved in museums, churches, correctional facilities, and community centers.

As an example, the correctional facility was modeled, and coordinated through VIATechnik’s team. By understanding the entire facility’s MEPF systems, our firm was able to identify constructability issues before field team build out the project.

BIM Coordination, BIM for pre-fabrication and 4D BIM

Our range of BIM services to address construction costs, limit change orders, and deliver projects on time. Further more, the digital environments can be used to pre-fabricate modules for on site assembly, limiting quality and safety issues.

Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality

Validate security camera lines of sight and chain of custody requirements. We can replicate layouts and building plans in virtual reality. The VR environments allow team members and stakeholders to collaborate with each other and ensure a cohesive design and build process.
