Hospital Patient Room
HTC Vive, Oculus, and Leap Motion Controller Compatible – VIATechnik created a completely interactive hospital patient room. Interactive elements include ceilings, lights, movable objects, patient health monitors, and the TV screen. Project utilized a false exterior to give a representative view from the patient room. By creating the patient room in virtual reality, the client did not need to create an expensive mockup.
Powell Street San Francisco
HTC Vive, Oculus, and Leap Motion Controller Compatible – VIATechnik recreated Powell and Ellis Streets in San Francisco with moving Cable Cars. The source data came from a point cloud laser scan, which was then used to guide the 3D geometry. Utilizing photos from the area, VIATechnik recreated storefronts, store interiors, and various elements such as garbage on the street. The immersive world allows one to experience San Francisco from afar!
Nuclear Power Plant
This interactive simulation of a Nuclear Power Plant was featured in ENR Magazine. VIATechnik converted the laser scan of the power plant and transformed it into a completely interactive environment. Users could plan vessel installations and playback planned routes to indicate logistics clashes and risks in not meeting the scheduled installation time frame.
Commercial Office Fit Out
Utilizing hyper-realistic textures and materials, VIATechnik created an immersive loft office space. The modern furnishings included Herman Miller furniture, Apple hardware, and other high end furnishings. These realistic experiences allow decision makers to decide if the space is right for them!
Point Cloud VR
Virtual Reality does not always need to be sexy and highly polished. On this project, VIATechnik brought on a point cloud into a VR environment compatible with the Oculus and HTC Vive. This allowed for a quick turn around to evaluate existing conditions in a retail space.
Why risk real lives and dollars when complex projects can be simulated in virtual reality? Using our logistics simulator, VIATechnik’s clients can interact with real construction equipment in virtual reality, record actions, and experience all the challenges on complex jobs without the risks of causing safety issues or lost time.
VIATechnik believes that virtual reality is a game changer in planning for construction. Immersive environments that show how projects need to be built limit the delay and safety risks. Utilizing VR logistics has helped our client plan even simple jobs such as high-rise construction.
Hawaiian Golf Club
This environment is both compatible with the Oculus and HTC Vive. This project required the use of simulated audio and changing daylight conditions. The VR simulation allowed the owner to visualize what they were getting.
This project required the integration of the Leap Motion Controller and Oculus. By allowing stakeholders to visualize the end product, decision making for these Japanese patient rooms were sped up and allowed stakeholders to agree on equipment and furnishings remotely, rather than travel to show rooms.
VIATechnik created this apartment building in virtual reality to convince the owners that the design would meet their expectations when completed. It is much easier to make changes before construction begins.
Apartment Unit Interiors
Sophisticated owners want to see what they are getting before they make investments in their purchases. VIATechnik’s VR solution is perfect for offshore sales of real estate.
