Virtual and Augmented Reality

VIATechnik’s team of artists, software developers, architects, and technologists provide a high fidelity virtual reality and sophisticated augmented reality lab. Through our VR/AR studio’s expertise in Unreal, Unity, Vuforia, 3DSMax, Maya, and Substance, we are able to craft amazingly realistic and immersive experiences. We work with leading architects, sophisticated real estate developers and advanced general contractors, on delivering architectural visualizations, interactive environments, and problem solving simulations. When clients engage our VR/AR studio, we start the process by taking a detailed understanding of project requirements and the desired outcomes. Our firm is entirely software agnostic, so depending on the firm or project’s needs, we tailor our tools to match the project’s requirements. Our main goal is to build immersive and realistic environments, focusing our efforts on materiality and lighting. In addition to the VR/AR services we offer, we also provide our clients with leading training allowing them to empower their internal teams to grow and develop a best in class capability.

What is Virtual Reality?

We define virtual reality as a simulated experience to visualize, or simulate a real world environment. In our visualization projects, we focus on lighting, materiality, scale, geometric complexity and softness. In simulations, we focus on replicating real world physics, logistics, and animations.

What is Augmented Reality?

Our firm defines augmented reality combining a simulated experience with the real world environment. We tie data with real world locations and augment the physical environment with digital models and information.
