United States – VIATechnik worked with a client to transform a 3D Point Cloud scan into a BIM and virtual reality environment. The owner needed to understand the logistics of replacing a vessel in the plant, as the cost of shutting down the facility is about $1 million per day. Through VIATechnik’s game developers, we created an environment that highlighted any clashes as a result of bringing the vessel into the plant, and produced an interactive interface for the owner to manually choose and record a path to get into the plant.
